Archive for February, 2008

Following a tipoff from my friend, Gerald about a possible fireworks display, I went to a location with 3 friends to wait for the fireworks to start. We expected the show to start around 10pm, like the one before but instead we had to wait till 11.30pm.

We almost left the spot cause of the long delay, but I guess it was worth the wait. The show was the most spectacular in my whole life. The fireworks were so huge, and the bang was deafening. 15 minutes of beautiful and amazing show of colours.

For all my life, I’ve never captured a proper fireworks display during Chinese New Year.

On the Chinese New Year’s eve (midnight) of 7th Feb 2008, Methos, JungleMike and I went to Friendship Garden to capture this beautiful moment.

I’ve only got time to process 3 pictures, but I guess it is enough to describe the wonderful moment.

Wish you all a graceful, prosperous, wealthy and a healthy year of the Rat. Gong Xi Fatt Chai and God bless.
