Miss Fair and Lovely World Harvest Festival beauty pageant is an annual event organised by Sarawak Cultural Village featuring contestants of various ethics across Malaysia.

 I was there on behalf of a prominent magazine in Kuching. Special highlight of this event is the appearance of all the models dressed in dresses sponsored by Absolutely Dress, owned by last year’s winner of Miss Fair and Lovely (2007), Miss Hazel Desmond.

It’s kind of challenging to get a good photo due to the coloured stage lightings. I hope the stage lighting won’t be the type that changes colours every few second during the finals… it’s not very photo friendly. White lightings like the one used in fashion shows are best, and not only it is photo friendly, but also it can clearly shows the model’s appearances in proper too.

 The first series shows all the 25 contestants dressed in t-shirt and jeans.
