Majestic hotel lobby

Few months ago, I got an unexpected phone call from IVOQ about a job to photograph Merdeka Palace Hotel and Suites. I’ve shot a few interior projects before but I’ve never done a large scale shooting like a hotel.

I said to myself, how hard could that be? Seeing thousands of commercial photos in magazines and hotel websites, this should be a good challenge for me. It took me and Shen a few days to complete the shoot due to timing, lighting condition and some shots involving models but I really love my time spent at Merdeka Palace. Our host (Ms. Diana) is very friendly and hospitable… not to mention that the food there is very tasty.
